Responsibilities:

Coordination and monitoring of the company's daily operations.
Optimization of internal processes and operational procedures.
Coordinating teams and promoting effective internal communication.
Using management tools and software (e.g., CRM) to improve efficiency.
Participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
Development and execution of commercial and sales strategies.
Managing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Identifying and establishing strategic partnerships.
Preparation of performance reports and communication of results.
Working in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Required qualifications

  • Education and experienceBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or related field. Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in operations, logistics or general management. Proven experience in managing teams in a dynamic field operations environment.
  • CommunicationFluency in English (required). Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage, as are other relevant languages—such as Urdu, Punjabi, or Hindi—which are valued for communication in multicultural environments.
  • Analytical and technical knowledgeStrong analytical thinking and ease with data. Proficiency in CRM, ERP, or operational management systems. Ability to generate insights and track performance indicators.
  • ExperienceProven ability to expand operations into new markets. Experience launching or growing a business unit in a national and international environment is highly valued.
  • Insight into growth and CRMA track record of driving sales or significant user growth, particularly through the use of CRM strategies or partnerships. Experience in business development or client account management, in addition to operations, is an advantage.
  • Excellence in fleet logisticsPrevious experience in transportation or fleet logistics management with exceptional results (e.g., high uptime, cost reductions, or service quality improvements). Familiarity with multicultural environments is an advantage.
  • Multilingual skillsFluency in English is required. Knowledge of Portuguese or other languages is a bonus, aiding communication within our international team.
  • Professional certificationsAny relevant certifications or training (e.g., in negotiation, data analysis, or project management) are welcome. Continuous learning and professional development in areas that complement this role demonstrate a commitment to excellence.

What we offer:

A RUBICON It offers an open-ended employment contract, guaranteeing stability and all legal rights provided for under Portuguese law.
 
Base salary: €1,850 per month, paid 14 times a year, according to the Portuguese Labor Code. Meal allowance: €6.00 per working day.
 
Paid vacations and holidays: You will be entitled to paid leave in accordance with Portuguese labor law, ensuring that you have rest time in accordance with local regulations.
 
This compensation structure is designed to be fair, transparent, and in full compliance with applicable laws. The goal is to ensure you are rewarded for your experience and have a comfortable life at your host location, while all legal obligations to you as an employee are fully met.
