Job description:
We are looking for experienced automotive mechanics who can inspect and repair vehicles completely and independently.
They should be able to:
- Perform a complete vehicle inspection from start to finish, including:
- Braking system (pads, discs, hoses, performance)
- Suspension and steering components (play, wear, stability)
- Condition of tires and wheels (wear, signs of misalignment)
- Lights and electrical systems (malfunctions, basic wiring concepts)
- Engine condition (leaks, abnormal noises, basic diagnostics)
- Exhaust system (leaks, condition, assembly)
- General components related to safety
- IIdentifying defects on your own → Without guidance, without following instructions
- Good communication skills in English and a proactive attitude.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
You need to know:
- What's wrong and why?
- Repair whatever they find.
- Replace worn parts
- Fixing mechanical problems
- Solving basic electrical problems
- Return the vehicle to a safe and functional condition.
Understanding when a vehicle is:
- Safe to use
- Unsafe and in need of repairs.
- Unacceptable for use before the problems are corrected.
- Working independently
- Without constant supervision
- Without waiting for instructions
- Be proactive
- Identify problems before failures occur.
- Taking responsibility for the outcome
IMPORTANT:
- We are not looking for: Basic mechanics, assistants, or people who simply follow instructions. Reasoning, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are required.
- The technical level must be proven (not presumed).
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English or Dutch is required.
- Good physical condition and willingness to do manual labor.
- Ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Punctuality and commitment
- Presentation of the clean criminal record document. (Mandatory)
- European Health Insurance Card (Mandatory)
